MOUNT KISCO – A Brewster man arrested last week for allegedly assaulting a police officer had been kicked out of the country twice, police said today. William Martinez, 34, of 50 Main St., was arrested several times by state and federal authorities before his arrest Wednesday in downtown Mount Kisco, police Chief Steven Anderson said. He was deported twice over the last few years, the chief said. Martinez was accused of threatening employees of a Mexican restaurant Wednesday night and fighting with police officers who attempted to escort him out. He was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, resisting arrest and third-degree menacing, misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a violation.
