TN: Illegal Alien Sought In Store Worker Killing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Police said a man who was in the country illegally is responsible for the death of a south Nashville store clerk. His name is Edgar Rodriguez, and he’s no stranger to immigration officials. He was deported last October and is now on the run. Police said they believe he is back in Mexico. But some local businesses aren’t taking any chances. The Discount Beer Market is closed now and has been closed for a week. No one has even been back inside until Thursday, when victim Vinod Shah’s family went in to pick up a few things.
Police are urging anyone with information about the Sept. 19 murder to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
