Obama Compares Ordering Politicos To Dealing With Natural Disaster

When Hurricane Gustav was bearing down on New Orleans, the left wanted to make it a political talking point to remind everyone about how they failed (the area was mostly controlled by liberal Democrats after all) even though they managed to blame it all on President Bush. What they did not expect however was that the storm bearing down on the Gulf Coast would raise questions about Barack Obama’s experience in dealing with natural disasters:
(CNN) — Barack Obama defended his experience in dealing with natural disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina, and took a swipe at newly minted GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
In an interview on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 Monday night, Obama was asked about whether his experience in the U.S. Senate dealing with weather-related situations compares to Palin’s executive experience running the state of Alaska and as the small town mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.“My understanding is that Gov. Palin’s town, Wassilla, has I think 50 employees. We’ve got 2500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe 12 million dollars a year – we have a budget of about three times that just for the month,” Obama responded.
Our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the past couple of years and certainly in terms of the legislation I’ve passed in the past couple of years, post-Katrina.”
Notice how he didn’t answer the question? Notice how he instead took a back handed jab at Sarah Palin? Notice how he did not even talk about how it is not even the federal government’s job to deal with natural disasters? If you disagree, please find that authorization for me in the Constitution and get back to me.
So here is a summary of how Barack Obama believes he is qualified to deal with natural disasters. He is able to order his mindless politicos about. He is able to run advertisements on television and radio that play to mindless moonbat who think conservatives that believe in liberty are akin to Hitler. He is able to give speeches - but only with a teleprompter of course. And all that makes him able to deal with hurricanes slamming into the Gulf Coast.
More vacuous flap. He’s off the teleprompter and you can tell.
