RSSObama’s Moral Equivalency – Bush = Ayers

A little while back, ads drawing the connection between Barack Obama and the unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist, William Ayers, whose group murdered people in the streets trying to usher in a soviet style fascism in America, were on the air.
The ads made a point and a valid one at that. That point was to draw up the question about Obama’s judgment for being associated with such a man. Obama reeled from the hit and his campaign went into full whine mode complaining about the “attack”. The ultimate excuse for the association between the terrorist and Obama was two fold. First, Obama had denounced the terrorist acts. Second, that Ayers was not really that important to Obama’s political career and was just someone that was “around”. Sort of like how Craig Livingstone was just around the Clintons too remeber?
But neither of those excuses address the issue. If Obama denounced and was so appalled by the terrorist acts of Ayers who is unrepentant why be associated with him? Actions speak louder than words – something liberals need to learn.
So now Barack Obama has decided that he needs to draw a comparison between John McCain and some unsavory character. Who did he pick? President George Bush of course.
The Obama campaign is now running adds linking the two and while both men certainly have their faults is there really any comparison between linking McCain to Bush and linking Obama to an unrepentant domestic terrorist? I mean seriously, other than for the rabid moonbat left who think that President Bush is a war criminal for giving millions of brown people and women a chance at liberty, is there any real comparison here?
But the liberals will eat this up. To them George Bush is worse than William Ayers. George Bush is a murdering liar and William Ayers is a valiant “freedom fighter” and champion of the people who they admire like Che Guevara or Fidel Castro or Adolph Hitler. Well, at least they admired Hitler until that little Jewish problem came to light.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal by spouting such things, you probably are not. Keep this in mind as trolling is prohibited and will result in your comments not being approved and comments informing us how much we are a bunch of idiots because you say we are or espousing hate towards the truth are often moved directly to the official “I Hate You/You’re An Idiot” thread. Save us all the time and post there directly if you have a comment that would meet those criteria. Commentators reserve the right to mock claims about how liberal ideas, such as higher taxes, actually work and how conservative and right wingers, are NAZIs, racists, sexists, etc. and will do so with great regularity.
