Liberals Having Hard Time Turning Up Real Dirt On Palin

From the second her name was announced as the running mate of John McCain, liberals have been going bonkers over Sarah Palin trying to find some dirt on her. There are the accusations that she did something wrong by having a rouge cop with a track record of transgressions fired, then there were the claims that her child (born with Down Syndrome) was not really hers but her daughters (since proven false) to accusations by Alan Colmes (since removed and blamed on the “hate” hurled by the vast right wing conspiracy at Mr. Colmes for making the stupid remarks) that Sarah Palin acted inappropriately after he water broke and should have immediately been rushed to a hospital.

This is the way it has gone. Now there is new news that her daughter (17 years old) is pregnant.
Does this newest revelation matter? Well, in one sense yes. You would hope that a parent would impart enough wisdom to their children that they would not get pregnant before being able to support a child. However things like this do happen and we all know that children don’t listen. And they happen often.

In another sense, really the Palins typify conservatism and family values. The daughter is pregnant and that is water under the bridge. The child will be born. And it will be raised with love I have no doubt.

The difference is that for that Palins they obviously do not abide by the Obama family philosophy which view children to underage girls as “punishment” and are going to practice true “family values” and value their new family member when he or she arrives.

And obviously this latest revelation is not really news. It was common knowledge (apparently) that the Palin’s daughter was pregnant:

That’s about the only thing that I didn’t know about Bristol Palin’s pregnancy. The rest of the details I picked up almost without trying, while talking about other things with townsfolk — some who know the governor and her family well, some who don’t. It was, more or less, an open secret. And everyone was saying the same thing: the governor’s 17-year-old daughter is pregnant, the father is her boyfriend, and it’s really nobody’s business beyond that.

I happen to agree.

I happen to agree too.

So yet another “secret” and another “scandal” that wasn’t for the left.

Now, maybe we can get down to really important business? Like pointing out where all the authority for every liberal unconstitutional welfare program is in our founding documents? Those are the real questions facing America. But liberals keep running from them.

However, once again, this has proved one thing. What’s that “thing” you ask? Well, the best way to not get pregnant is not to have sex once - again proving the point of those that promote abstinence programs and showing that teaching kids how to have “safe sex” leads to babies at times. Whereas abstinence (except in the case of rape) never has.
