Obama: Make Sure Your Child Speaks Spanish

Barack Obama is coming under fire after he chastised Americans who support English as America’s legal official language by telling them their children should speak Spanish. The dust up has renewed criticism the Harvard educated politician is elitist, out of touch and a member of a liberal class that looks upon America with concern and contempt. “You know, I don’t understand when people are going around worrying about, ‘We need to have English-only,’” Mr. Obama told a crowd in Georgia. “They want to pass a law, ‘We want English-only.’” Specifically, he blasted U.S. parents for worrying too much about immigrants and not enough about their own children. “Instead of worrying about whether immigrants can learn English - they’ll learn English - you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish,” Mr. Obama said. “You should be thinking about, how can your child become bilingual? We should have every child speaking more than one language.”
