KFDM News has learned agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office, or ICE, are raiding a marine business in Port Arthur and have taken into custody more than a dozen suspected illegal immigrants.
Agents arrived Wednesday morning at R & R Marine and Fabrication in the 5700 block of Procter in Port Arthur.
When the ICE agents got to the business, a number of the suspected illegal immigrants began running away.
Agents loaded about 15 suspected illegal immigrants onto a van for transport away from the marine business.
KFDM News called R & R Marine for comment shortly after 9 a.m.
“We can’t tell you anything right now,” said Will Wilson of R & R Marine. “They just arrived.”
