TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Border Patrol paramedics are seeing “a tremendous increase” in 911 calls made from illegal immigrants’ cell phones seeking assistance this year Paramedic Mario Agundez says there’s been at least a 200% increase in the number of cell phone-generated calls this fiscal year over last.
