Couric To America: You’re Sexist More Than Racist
J.J. Jackson | July 24, 2008
I was one of the first people to comment on the issue of how members of the Democratic Party were placed in a position of either being racists or sexists depended on who they voted for in the primaries. People voting for Obama were being called sexists by the radical feminist wing of the party and people voting for Hillary were being called racists by some of those that supported Obama. Well Katie Couric has once again piped up on the issue putting out there that Hillary Clinton lost because America is more sexist than racist:
“Unfortunately I have found out that many viewers are afraid of change. The glory days of TV news are over, and the media landscape has been dramatically changed. News is available now for everyone, everywhere, all the time, and everybody fights for the last pieces of the shrinking pie. The corporate pressure and the ratings terror are intensifying all the time, and the situation is not simple. I find myself in the last bastion of male dominance, and realizing what Hillary Clinton might have realized not long ago: that sexism in the American society is more common than racism, and certainly more acceptable or forgivable. In any case, I think my post and Hillary’s race are important steps in the right direction.”
Yep, that’s right – Obama won because there were more sexists than racists in the Democratic Party according to Couric. She tries to claim that it is “American society” that is this way. The truth is that it is really just her liberal circle of friends that is this way.
Hey Katie, maybe you could just ditch the Democratic Party and your liberal friends who judge others based on such superficial things? If you would venture away from them you would find that you would not have to worry about this all that much – just don’t associate with Democrats and liberals.
Come into the light. I’ll tell you the truth which is that you just are simply not a good news anchor and you probably do not deserve the job you have. It has nothing to do with you being a woman. But I am sure that there is something that you are actually good at and that people will pay you money to do.
See? Isn’t that so much better? Isn’t it better to know I will tell you the truth without letting silly and superficial things get in the way?
