When Angry Liberals Write Me
J.J. Jackson* | June 18, 2008
There are a lot of misinformed people out there. Sadly, they think that they have to write me to show me exactly how misinformed they are.
This email comes to me from a person going by the name of “GracefulDove”:
I amd absolutely tired and sick of you and others like you talking about Jesus as though he were some great paragon of the laws of the old testaments which were instituted to keep slaves as slaves and the rich as rich.
The laws of God that he gave to moses in the form of the ten commandments were so greatly in error that Jesus came to correct them and rewrite them into a new commandment aboput love which people like Barak Obama understand but greedy sons of bitches like Bush, Cheney, those oil executives and you don’t want to be preached because it you can no longer hide behind saying things like God said not to steal or not to murder so you cannot have your ill gotten gains or guilt women into keep ing a child they do not want.
People like you are the satans that walk this earth misquoting the bible while people like Barak Obama truely understand the grae anc glory of God and the utipian sociaty that will come when we all live together in love without property or greed.
I do so love when liberals misquote the Bible (or in this case not even quote it but just misrepresent it) in order to justify collectivism. I guess it would be too difficult for them to actually read the Bible and discover what Jesus actually believed about things like the Ten Commandments.
This is what liberals do. They say “Blah blah blah (insert false Biblical reference here) blah blah blah.” And they think they are smart! Which is the scary thing!
Perhaps if “GracefulDove” spent as much time reading the Bible as she (or maybe he …. possibly even “it”) spent writing rambling and nonsensical emails to me these passages would have been discovered.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets” (Matthew 5:17)
“If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments ” (Matthew 19:17)
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” (John 15:10)
For someone who supposedly was sent to “rewrite” the Ten Commandments into a “new commandment aboput(sic) love” Jesus sure didn’t express that as his intent.
There are just too many ignorant Christians out there. Or should I say people that envision themselves as Christians? They have either been taught by ignorant preachers or ignored the lessons well learned preachers have imparted upon them.
But they are willing to embrace a false profit who spent far too many years in a church that railed against so much Jesus imparted to us and nearly all that God commanded in a few simple lines that were purposefully so simple so that no one could claim that they could not be understood when they were called before him to answer for their lives.
