The Democrats have been wrong at every stage of the Global War on Terror, so why should anyone believe they have clarity now and why should anyone vote for them to lead this country in the future? Democrats pursued first World Trade Center bombers as criminals and jailed several… reality was masterminds were not caught and were instrumental planning the 9/11 attacks. Democrats predicted that an attack on Iraq would ignite Islamic attacks throughout the Middle East… reality is that al Qaeda converged on Iraq as the focal point on attacks on America. Democrats claimed The U.S. was acting unilaterally in the Iraq invasion…reality is that the U.S. obtained U.N. approval and enlisted 50 countries in the coalition. Democrats predicted an American death toll in the Iraq invasion in excess of 100,000… reality is that the invasion and defeat of the Iraq Army cost America less than 1,000 lives. Democrats predicted Iraq would never be able to create a coalition government to rule the country… reality is the coalition government has solved or is solving all of its challenges. Democrats predicted that post-war Iraq would degenerate into a religious Civil War… reality is that there were some religious faction conflicts, but the country has united against terrorists. Democrats predicted the surge would not work and conditions in Iraq would only get worse…. reality is that the surge improved security and government has made significant progress. Since Democrats have incorrectly predicted failure at each step in the Iraq conflict, there is no reason to believe that Democrats have any better grasp of national security now.
Obama is a triumph of Affirmative Action as an inexperienced politician whose major asset is his parents, completely overlooking his leftist mentors, Marxist promises, and defeatist foreign policy. Obama has been allowed to make many empty promises but has yet to unveil any plans how to actually implement his promises, thus avoiding any critical review of his vacuous claims. Obama’s new strategy is to employ “pretzel logic” to redefine what he previously said to support opposite positions, so he never appears to be on the wrong side of any issue. Obama’s immaturity was revealed with his faux “pre-presidential” seal which recalled FDR’s failed National Recovery Administration which tried to collectivize the U.S. economy. Not satisfied with the liberal indoctrination in public schools, the latest liberal pipedream unveiled was a “Zero to Five” plan to replace parenting with government daycare from birth. Obama has revealed his rank hypocrisy in his support for ethanol as an alternative fuel, but refuses to consider imported sugar-based ethanol so he can pander to domestic corn farmers. Meanwhile Obama has no plan to increase supply of energy, but is willing to throw money at any alternative energy idea even when these ideas will not be feasible for decades. Democrats display a “sitcom” approach to foreign policy with very little patience for any policy that does not deliver immediate results and no long term commitment to strategic initiatives. Obama’s campaign strategy is apparently to accuse Republicans of attacks and Hope to divert attention from discussion of any issues, since his Changes would only hurt the country.
Mainstream Media continues their constant drumbeat of gloom and doom to set the stage for Democrats to “solve their problems,” that unfortunately were created by these same Democrats. Despite overwhelming support for increased domestic oil drilling, the Mainstream Media has responded with biased green views of environmentalists to convince people they are wrong. Mainstream Media refuses to report on the tremendous progress in Iraq because it does not match their liberal biased “America defeated” talking points. The Mainstream Media continues to try to foment an economic recession with fantastic scenarios of doom and gloom that they hope will become self fulfilling prophecies and a campaign issue.
McCain has got to start comtrasting the impact of his ideas vs. Obama’s ideas, since once exposed voters will understand how moral relativism and higher taxes undermines our culture and economy. Obama has preemptively accused Republicans of racism, who do not consider race an issue, since McCain would much rather focus on the Obama’s Marxist policies as the big issues. McCain has identified a number of changes to the tax code but no coherent policy, so a major redesign back to two lower rates will be a stark contrast to Democrat tax increases. The biggest advantage McCain has is that most voters live outside the beltway and understand that picking a President is more than picking a good speech reader with populist ideas.
