They can take their change and stuff it.

When was the last time you saw gas below $ 3.00 per gallon, $ 4.00? Do you wonder like I do why on earth there is such a spike in gas prices? Now I know they are telling us that it is a supply and demand issue, but that only works if a bunch more people have started driving daily since the gas prices raise daily, no I think there is something much larger at play here and after doing a little careful reading I think I have stumbled upon the reason and you can call me Looney all you want but the facts are the facts and they cannot be disputed I really do not care how many economics professors say otherwise. You see in April 2007 Nancy Pelosi visited Syria, now keep in mind that also at this time we were having Al Gores Global warming crap shoved down our throats. Now at that time our gas prices were up slightly enough to make you sweat a little but not enough to make you cringe.

In March 2007 the average gas price was $ 2.90, but by April 9th it had shot up to $ 3.25 per gallon which is interesting since Nancy Pelosi made her trip to Syria one of the largest oil producers in the world on April 4, 2007. Since that time gas prices have steadily rose to the point that most people can barely afford to go to work. I ran a cross this interesting article this morning in AOL Money and finance where they talk about the seaside community that is paying on average $ 4.29 per gallon as scary as that thought is what I found even scarier is this statement “Such is life at the pump these days. As gas prices surge ever higher, Americans who long resisted cutting back are beginning to find that they have to.” Now pardon me if I sound like a conspiracy theorist here but what better way to make absolutely sure that the people cut back on the those air polluting cars and stop driving those terrible SUV’s than to take a little trip to Syria and discuss the fact that other countries pay much more than we do for gas and it really isn’t fair that we get oil at such low prices.

Every single day we are inundated with green this or green that congress has mandated that we stop using regular light bulbs by 2010 I believe; now they simply cannot mandate that we drive smaller more gas efficient vehicles, so what else can they do than force the gas prices so high that you can no longer afford to drive. If you think about it our gas prices were low up until 2006 when the democrats took over the House and Senate and promised us all change, I don’t know about you but that is about all I have left. Then to make matters better? They tax the gas companies, a tax that guess what they pass on to us, and tell everyone it is all the big gas and Bush who are to blame, only problem is that it was not until they took office and Nancy went for her chat in Syria that the gas prices skyrocketed. If these people remain in office I am not sure I want to know how much a gallon of gas will cost, after all Obama is even offering us change.

I don’t know about you but I cannot afford the gas at the price it is right now, I certainly cannot stand to see it go any higher and I am sick and tired of change, I want a few dollars left in my pocket, I don’t want to have to decide whether to stay at home or go to church because I cannot afford to drive there, they can take their change and stuff it.
