CHARLOTTE — Nearly two dozen gang arrests in Charlotte and across the state are causing concern for some people who live in those communities. Tuesday, law enforcement officers arrested 20 members of the gang called MS-13. One UNC Charlotte professor says the state is the perfect target for gangs. The 20 now behind bars face charges ranging from murder to racketeering to possession of drugs and guns. They hit several apartment complexes, including one in Mint Hill and another in south Charlotte.
