ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington police arrested David Martinez-Valenzuela after he fled from police in a stolen van and caused a head-on collision.

Officers attempted to pull Martinez over early Friday morning but police said he fled.

Martinez had evaded police when he drove against traffic on Pioneer Parkway and tried to access 360 by using an off-ramp.

The mini-van collided head-on into a PT Cruiser. The driver of the PT Cruiser was taken to a hospital with leg injuries.
