Pfleger Spouts Psychobabble In His Defense

The Rev. Pfleger got caught giving another tirade like those that are apparently typical at Barack Obama’s church of two decades (Trinity United Church of Christ). Pfleger had some unkind words for Senatorette Hillary Clinton and put on his Rev. Wright hat during a sermon.

But he is dismayed. See, he is upset that his comments became widely known.

But that is ok because the Reverend has an excuse for his comments that made it onto the internet. And no, the excuse is not that he was at fault either. He claims, it appears, that he did not know the cameras were on. He even blamed the church, “They told me it (the live streaming of video) was down. Their live streaming had been down all day, and they didn’t know whether it was back up.”

Like that is supposed to make a difference? He is basically admitting that he is two faced and would say one thing in private while saying something else for public consumption? How … uh … liberal?

He then went into psychobabble mode saying, “This is a dangerous time in America, the freest country in the world, where you have to whisper your thoughts.” Wait, just before this (see previous quote) he was complaining that he didn’t know the cameras were on and impled that he would have toned down (i.e. whispered) what he said if he had known his words were being broadcast. So which is it Rev. Pfleger? Do you not want people to know what you think or do you want them to know?

You can’t have it both ways. I know you are a crackpot liberal and you think you can – but you can’t!
