Off Days

Two days off and loads to do for just ‘ittle ol’ me.  I don’t take a lot of vacation normally and the SGM(r) is still working up to having enough to take a week of if need be … so a couple days here and there will have to do.  Actually, I’m in the use it or lose it phase of the year with 17 hours due to drop off on the 1st of July.  So here I am … sleeping in until 7 am.

Planning to take Roscoe for a morning walk, get my hair done, drop off at the Goodwill, buy a new TV and clean the carpet.   

Or I’ll just dig out the series DVDs for this and do nothing but lay on the couch, Twitter and escape.

I grew up in southern Minnesota, right above Iowa – and I don’t recall flooding like what has been going on the last few weeks.  Checked out the local news in the area where my estranged family lives and looks like no flooding there thankfully.  How can you help?  Give … we did.

So I’m going take off and start my day … you all have good ones yourself!
