Idiotic Ramblings By A Loon

I’ve already talked about Rep. Dan Boren (D) who has said that while he won’t endorse his party’s candidate, Barack Obama, he still apparently plans to vote for him in November. Boren is from a conservative Oklahoma district and fears coming out in favor of Obama would hurt his chances at re-election – but has no qualms about voting for him.

In fact there are several Democrats from conservative districts who won election by being more conservative than Republicans who are keeping Obama at arms length. But what I want to talk about is the idiotic ramblings of a particular Democrat loon, Sen. Claire McCaskill D-Mo. who thinks she has it all figured out:

“They are all scared to death about getting beat by a Republican,” said Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., one of Obama’s most prominent supporters. “I don’t think that if the good Lord himself had been nominated as a Democrat that some of those folks would have endorsed him. They are afraid of looking too much like a Democrat because of the kind of districts they’re from.”

Wow. Hey uh, Claire, here’s a clue. If the “good Lord” ran as a Democrat then you probably wouldn’t be in that party and neither would many of your other fellow travelers who have planted themselves there considering that the “good Lord” spoke in no uncertain terms that it is not ok to murder (as in abort unborn children), not ok to covet the possessions of others and certainly not ok to take them by force (as in confiscating the wealth and productivity of others for your own benefit).

If the “good Lord” ran as a Democrat, then it would be by far the most conservative party in the nation leaving you with a serious choice to make. That choice? In the next election do you run on the Socialist Party ticket or on the ticket of the Communist Party USA?
