Even Democrats Unite To Kill Calls For Impeachment of Bush

The disunity in the Democratic Party is clear on many issues and they are no clearer on the issue of impeaching President Bush. The moonbats who think that even though Congress approved the use of force against nations like Iraq that it was President Bush who fudged the evidence for war (or so they claim despite liberal Democrat Congressmen calling Iraq a threat even before Bush was even elected) have tried once again and failed to get the motion considered. They were shot down by many of their own Democrats.
WASHINGTON - The House has voted to send articles of impeachment against President Bush to a committee that is not likely to hold hearings before the end of his term.
By 251-166, House members dispatched the measure to a committee on Wednesday — a procedure often used to kill legislation.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi long ago declared the prospects for impeachment proceedings “off the table.”
Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio continues to pander to the wacko base of the Democratic Party with this sort of stuff and is no doubt heartbroken that he is not being allowed to voice his complaints and tilt at the windmills he has identified as being monsters. He will just have to go and suck his thumb and sit rocking in front of the mirror muttering – “I’m a good person … I’m a good person … gosh darn it people like me … I know they do ….”
