Today, a group of mostly Hispanic students walked out of Garinger High School in Charlotte. They marched to Marshall Park in uptown. Their protest comes on the heels of a report showing America’s Hispanic population is growing rapidly, especially in the South. North Carolina had a 7.8 percent increase. They want to become citizens.
