PRAY FOR MUSLIMS

Christ told His own to pray for their enemies.

Christians are to pray for their enemies in the present-tense. One block equals extremist Muslims.

Therefore, Christians under the authority of Scripture are to intercede with heaven on their behalf. Christians believe in the power of prayer. They also believe that with God nothing is impossible.

Consequently, Christians must get hold of the prayer power now in order for the Holy Spirit to bring enlightenment upon Muslims.

There are hosts of Muslims who know nothing of the Bible. They do not understand the sacrificial death of Christ that provides divine forgiveness for repented sins. They have no idea of the Christian hope because of Christ’s indwelling redemptive presence.

So it is time for Christians to put into action what they say they believe, what they sing about on the Lord’s Day and what is ultimately the answer to the spiritual darkness surrounding Muslims.

Christians believe what Christ said when, according to the Gospel records, He stated that no one comes to God the Father but by Him. No other religious leader has claimed to be deity incarnate. Christ claimed that. He said that if one saw Him, one saw the Father.

For claiming divinity, Christ was slain on the grounds of blasphemy. Therefore, the particularization of Christ as the only Savior is what biblical believers hold to as divine revelation.

Then believing that, all the more Christians must beseech God’s convicting compassion to open the spiritual eyes of those who do not yet believe. That includes Muslims.

The Koran stipulates that if one leaves Islam for another religion, that person is to be slain by devout Muslims. All the more that Christians intercede on their behalf.

How many worship leaders bring to their congregations the need for intercessory prayer for Muslims? How many churches mention aloud Muslims in their public prayers? How many pastors instruct their worshipers to pray for Muslims, Islamic nations and mosque clerics?

Other than the sacrificial blood of Christ that washes away our repented sins, prayer is the dynamo of the universe. Therefore, Christians need to sincerely pray for their spiritual enemies, one block being Muslims.

No one can even imagine the change that could take place globally if biblical believers actually prayed earnestly for Muslims’ salvation in Christ.
