Majority Of Americans Don’t Care About Character
J.J. Jackson* | May 2, 2008
We are officially doomed. Apparently, in a attempt to justify voting for the candidate of their choice, the majority of Americans have decided that character doesn’t matter:
Fifty-two percent (52%) of voters nationwide say that it is more important to understand a candidate’s specific policy proposals rather than the candidate’s character. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 36% disagree and believe that it is more important to understand a candidate’s character.
Democrats, by a 2-to-1 margin, say it’s the policy options that matter most.
In other words, “Sure he’s a liar and a crook – but he’s OUR liar and crook!”
What an utterly shameful thing for Americans to say. So here is the question for all you losers out there that think character doesn’t count. If character doesn’t count, when your candidate tells you he will do X how do you justify in you own mind that he or she isn’t lying to you?
Let me guess … you want “free” healthcare and someone else’s money to better your lot in life so badly that you’ll vote for anyone who says they’ll give it to you. Even if they are a liar.
You’re not Americans. You’re pathetic.
