House Wants To Sue OPEC

In the continuing saga of liberals who just don’t get it, the House of Representatives have take yet another idiotic action to deal with raising oil prices. Their answer is now allow us Americans to drill for and refine more oil of our own. Nope – their answer is to sue OPEC:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The House of Representatives approved legislation on Tuesday allowing the Justice Department to sue OPEC members for limiting oil supplies and working to set crude prices, but the White House has threatened to veto the measure.

The bill would subject OPEC oil producers, including Saudi Arabia, Iran and Venezuela, to the same antitrust laws that U.S. companies must follow.

Here’s that little fascist/communist streak I keep telling you liberals have coming out again. What standing do they have to bring such a suit? The answer is none because Congress themselves has limited oil supplies by throwing up roadblock after roadblock to our own domestic drilling. The answer is none because each of those countries has the right to manage their own resources as they see fit without our interference.

You cannot simply start suing nations because they are doing what you have also done (i.e. limited oil supplies). That is, unless you are a communist who believes you can simply demand other people use their land in a way that you deem them should. Oh wait, that’s right – most of these liberals are communists! The rest are socialists and fascists. And yes, I am using that those terms properly. Go look them up in a dictionary if you doubt it – especially all you liberals that think it is the right wingers who are “fascists”.

Is this how liberals have decided that they will “restore” America’s image (which hasn’t suffered among those that matter) around the world? They are going to sue them?

Couldn’t this be cause for war? I know I, as a leader of one of the countries, would see it as potentially such and a violation of the my sovereignty if I was the target of such a legal assault.

Can we get some approvals to drill for our own oil in ANWR and elsewhere please?
