Republican Elizabeth Dole and Democrat Kay Hagan continued their sniping Wednesday over what could become a pivotal issue in their U.S. Senate campaign: illegal immigration. The ad came a day after Hagan, a state senator, discussed immigration with several sheriffs in Raleigh and raised questions about a program Dole has championed.
