ALTERNATIVE TO BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY

Black Liberation Theology teaches that whites must be overturned in order for blacks to revolutionize America for blackism.

Blacks are to fight “the white value system.” Sometimes persons as Jeremiah Wright refer to this as “middleclassness.”

Blacks are taught that whites are the enemy. Blacks therefore must take charge, remove whites from their power over blacks. Whites are the oppressors. Blacks are the oppressed.

Some aspects of Black Liberation Theology are quite barbaric. They are laced with hate and anger, madness and vindictiveness.

Black Liberation Theology orators start out by referring to Moses liberating Hebrews from Egyptian slavery. Skimming over that, they then move to the United States—focusing on the need for blacks to dismantle whites. Sometimes the teaching can get quite gross and brutal. The language is raw and abusive.

James Cone originated the Black Liberation Theology hoax with his book “A Black Theology of Liberation” (1970). Since then he’s become the saint of this hoax.

“’In God of the Oppressed,’ Cone said that Karl Marx’s chief contribution is ‘his disclosure of the ideological character of bourgeois thought, indicating the connections between the ‘ruling material force of society’ and the ‘ruling intellectual’ force.’

“Marx’s thought is useful and attractive to Cone because it allows black theologians to critique racism in America on the basis of power and revolution” per assistant professor of theology at Covenant Theological Seminary black Anthony B. Bradley on “The Marxist Roots of Black Liberation Theology” at the Acton Commentary website.

In 1979, Cornel West supported the alliance between bogus Black Liberation Theology and Marxism in his essay “Black Theology and Marxist Thought.” Other blacks added their warp to Cone’s and West’s misuse of the term “theology,” thus providing Wright with plenty of quotes from the pantheon of antibiblical voices on the dark side.

The alternative to Black Liberation Theology is biblical teaching that truly liberates. Black Liberation Theology does not set free. It enslaves hearers in bondage to fear and spite.

To those into biblical study, such cultic teaching is not what the Word of God promises the redeemed. We are not to be bound by fear and spite. We are to be set free by the Spirit of Christ.

I believe that there are countless black churches that refrain from proclaiming Black Liberation Theology. They preach the gospel of Christ, that is, salvation through confession of sin to Christ and the experience of being born anew.

It is what evangelicals of every color hold to as the New Testament core teaching. God has provided divine revelation in the Bible. That Book tells us that we can be unloosed from sin and guilt because of Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross.

Christ offered to eternity’s justice His bodily holy offering. No mortal could do that. Only the sinless incarnate One could do that. And He did it, once and for all.

Every person who comes to that offering, confessing Christ as Lord, repenting of one’s wrongs, comes into the new birth experience. Old things are passed away and behold all things become new.

It is a miracle experience. It is conversion—that which can only be seen through by the God with whom nothing is impossible.

Is not all that good news? Of course it is. And it is the antithesis to Black Liberation Theology that liberates no one.

The good news is what Christ would have preached from every pulpit.

The devil has taken the pulpit in the Black Liberation Theology building for the devil’s use. It is sad that clergy have become sidelined by the devil on this issue for it is all consuming. Sad too that the laity are not biblically knowledgeable enough to know that they are being warped by the devil’s tools of fear and spite.

However, wherever the true tidings of new life in Christ are set forth, heaven rejoices in blessing that congregation.

It used to be that the black congregations were filled with praise and joy. Their singing was uplifting. Their choirs were the best ever. They had their own style. And it surely did bring heaven down.

Now with Black Liberation Theology the dark veil has been draped across the pews. Sadly, once again, that the laity have not picked up on that. The younger generation of blacks does not know about their joyful heritage.

However, if the black congregations held in bondage by this hoax “theology” can discover their gospel heritage again, the joy will return. The praise will rise heavenward. The pews will be filled with changed
lives rather than those bent on a revolution to topple whites for black power.

Jeremiah Wright is dangerous. His clones are dangerous. Further, they are tools of the devil.

God has taken pity on the black churches bound by this hoax and recently exposed this cultic, deceptive teaching.

TV has given coverage to Wright’s demonic rants. That is going to bring healing to those congregations determined to change from the hoax to the alternative—the biblical truth.
