Words matter
Carolyn Hileman
Joe Bacca whose caucus is influential in the democratic party said in an attempt the thwart the first amendment rights of Lou Dobbs CNN that words matter, words have power and he is right and that is exactly why we are given the right to freedom of speech. You must understand when it comes to the Democratic Party anything that is not pro American reigns supreme, they will fight for the rights of the terrorists, they will fight for the rights of illegal immigrants, and they will fight for the rights of anyone but an American. That my friends is why the Hispanic caucus is so influential in the Democratic Party because they wish to change America, they want to make her just like every other country in the world.
Racist, nativists, hate monger, anti immigrant, xenophobe, those are all words, words used to describe anyone who does not want a wide open border and to allow anyone and everyone to migrate here. Those are all words, words meant to silence debate on illegal immigration, meant to silence me, meant to silence you, they are repeated on TV nightly as LULAC attempts to shut down the debate, used on our House floor in an attempt to shame those of us who would call and demand secure borders, those words are OK though you see they are aimed at you and me the Americans and they believe that they can say and do anything to us and get away with it. Words matter especially when one group is allowed to use them against another unfettered and the other is castigated for simply exercising their rights. Words have power when they are used to silence the very people who should have a say in what happens in a place they call home, words have power when they are true, they object to us using words such as illegal, Illegal immigrant, illegal invaders and criminals, the big difference is one set of words is true and the other is not.
We are used to the Democratic Party being decidedly anti American, they prove it almost on a daily basis, take for instance their new ad showing our soldiers being blown up; I assume it never occurred to them that the video might hurt the families of those fallen soldiers. Just like it never occurred to them that declaring the war lost, comparing our soldiers to Hitler and other dictators might lower morale. They have been systematically lowering our defenses the last eight years by allowing terrorists rights that belong only to citizens, by refusing to allow terrorist phones to be tapped, by lowering interrogation techniques to nothing more than being able to ask nicely when the next attack will be, by attempting to pass amnesty not once but three times and voting for a fence and then not bothering to fund it, with friends like them who needs enemies.
They have long held that America needs to be changed and their changes involve weakening our defenses, making us bilingual, picking us apart till only a shell of the America we know still remains. They claim they are making us a more humble nation, a gentler nation, a more compassionate nation while in reality they are destroying America from within and leaving her people without… They promise to lower gas prices while taxing the gas companies that they know will pass that cost right back to us, they promise to bail out those in mortgage crises and then bail out a multi million dollar company. They claim to be against big business but fight for the businesses right to hire illegal workers, they say they feel our pain while twisting the knife in just a little deeper. For them it is all about what you say not what you actually do, nothing they ever promise is backed up with action except those aimed at hurting our country, but that is OK because someone from the democratic party or one of their famous caucuses will come out and explain it all away, because to a democrat words matter.
