“The economy we had under her and Bill, was the best America has had for many years.”

Just for the record, presidents have very little to do with the economy. Economic policy and laws come out of Congress. So if you thought the economy was good under Clinton you should have been more swayed towards the party that actually brought it to you – the Republicans.

I have been a registered Democrat for the past 25 years, but I have always been a true moderate in my belief and thought process. I have never seen any sense in being an extremest and limiting yourself to a good idea.

My wife voted in the 2008 Democratic primary for the first time as an American citizen, and her passion for the American political process has been amazing, to say the least. It has also been a huge responsibility for me, to explain issues that don’t make sense to a person, that comes from a government, where all politicians are elected by only the popular vote!

We both voted for Hillary Clinton, basically for two reasons: Wait conservatives! Read it through.

1. The economy we had under her and Bill, was the best America has had for many years.
2. We felt we could trust her, due to her experience, and track record.

We are flabbergasted at what the DNC did with the Florida and Michigan primaries. It seems to be a continuing trend in this country to punish completely innocent people, for what a few individuals were ultimately responsible for. So on June 4th, after the state election was held in California, I registered as an Independent, and will vote for McCain in the general election.

Why not Obama? I lived for 5 years in rural Indiana just adjacent to Chicago, when I was a designer for Delco Electronics. Chicago is still the most corrupt city in America. Don’t kid yourself, it is still run by the Mafia and corrupt labor unions. You really need to Google ‘Chicago Mafia’ and read about what’s still going on today. Any politician in the state of Illinois, is in their pocket, or they would never have gotten where they are. This guy is a smooth talking Chicago, hack, gangster, and nothing more.

Secondly, Michelle Obama’s comment about ‘not being proud of the United States until now’ have infuriated my wife and I. My wife fought hard for 17 years to become an American citizen, and suffered greatly in doing so. I am a veteran and second generation born American. My grandparents came through Ellis Island, immigrating here from Italy and Scotland. Individuals called my grandparents ‘WOPs’ and ‘DAGOs’ and forced them to live in the slums of Boston and New York. Street gangs would beat and kill them if they caught them outside of their community. But they never once blamed America for the actions of despicable and ignorant individuals.

In closing, one of my best friends immigrated here from Iran over 24 years ago. He has been a US federal police officer for many years. Ask people like him about the threat from Iran, and they will tell you that Iran is actively funding the terrorists. Ever wonder why there are no suicide bombings in Iran? They will also tell you that Iran is scared to death of the US. I laugh at the comments made about the Iraq war being unpopular. My generation was drafted into probably the most unpopular war America has ever fought.

I urge you to vote for senator McCain, we need a strong leader right now, more than ever.
