MCCAIN FAVORED BY DEMS

“Nearly a third of Clinton supporters said they would back John McCain if Barack Obama becomes the Democratic nominee, and more than a quarter of Obama supporters said they would back McCain over Hillary Clinton, according to Associated Press-Ipsos polling” per AP’s Libby Quaid.
There you have it.
McCain is conservative on pro-life, anti-sodomy, pro-gun, pro-biblical ethic, and pro-American patriotism। That makes him “centrist” to those who like that term over “conservative.”
Further, McCain has a conservative-centrist record to back up his positions.
Clinton’s and Obama’s record reveals them to be other-than-grassroots-American. They are left of the left. America simply is not there.
McCain is wise to keep his campaign at its present low-key respectable level while Dems fight it out. There is still time for McCain’s American grassroots persona to come to the fore. When that happens, the Dem overload on the left side of things should dump their candidate in the water.
That is, if Obamamaniacs don’t vote simply on emotion, outnumbering those on the side of logic.
Obamamania is a celebrity-based phenomenon that could bring the election into the leftist camp. If that happens, the Republic will definitely “change” for the implosion.
“In a national Pew survey earlier this year, voters placed McCain in the middle, where they placed themselves. They placed Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama far to the left.
“And voters who back Clinton and Obama are open to McCain.”
