ICE raids lead to arrests in Avon

AVON, Coloardo — Seven people were arrested from the Aspen Trailer Park in Avon on Wednesday after a raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE agents were also looking for people in Edwards, but no arrests were made. The arrests were part of the “fugitive operations program,” which targets illegal immigrants who have received federal orders of deportation but have not complied, said ICE spokesman Carl Rusnok… Three of the people arrested were from Honduras and four were from Mexico. One person was not a “targeted person,” but agents found out he had been deported and re-entered the country during the operation.
