Clinton Trivializes Her Bogus Sniper Remarks
J.J. Jackson* | April 6, 2008
Appearing on the Tonight Show, Clinton mocked her insulting lies about having to dodge sniper fire while on a trip to Bosnia as First Lady:
“It is so great to be here, I was so worried I wasn’t going to make it. I was pinned down by sniper fire,” Clinton said after joining him onstage, referring to her claims—since disputed—that she dodged sniper bullets while arriving in Bosnia as first lady. Clinton later said she had “misspoke.”
In my opinion this is simply rubbing salt in the wound and making things worse. Her claims “since disputed”? How about her claims “since proven utterly false”!
Misspoke my ass. Just like she misspoke about always being a Yankees fan, Chelsea jogging around the Twin Towers on 9/11, and so on right?
