Typical Liberals – Thinking Money Can Solve Problems

Liberals supporting Hillary Clinton think they can solve the recount dilemma in Michigan by offering to foot the bill themselves. Hence they are doing what they always do. They are not addressing the problem which is that the rules, which the candidates agreed to, said the delegates would not be seated but rather trying to get around that issue by throwing money at the problem:

WASHINGTON — Ten wealthy Democrats have offered to pay for a new presidential primary in Michigan — all with ties to Hillary Rodham Clinton, who showed up in the state Wednesday seeking a revote.Five of the donors are listed on Clinton’s campaign website as among her major fundraisers. All 10 have contributed to Clinton’s presidential or Senate campaigns or the races run by former president Bill Clinton, according to federal data compiled by the non-profit Center for Responsive Politics.

The Michigan revote donors — including New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos and financier Roger Altman — have offered to put up $12 million to pay for a new election in June.

Corzine and Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, both Clinton backers, released the donors’ names in a letter to Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm. The letter was aimed at demonstrating support for a do-over, so the state’s voters could have a say in the hotly contested nomination battle. Barack Obama’s supporters in the state have raised questions about logistics and costs.

Wait, “wealthy Democrats”? I thought that all the rich were evil vile Republicans? Better not let this new get out or the Democrat masses will cll for their removal from the party because the rich can do nothing but taint the purity of the socialist message … or so they have been told.

In comments on the debacle in Michigan, Hillary Clinton called Barack Obama “unAmerican” for working against a revote:

Noting that about 600,000 people had voted in Michigan and another 1.7 million in Florida –- record turnouts for primaries -– Mrs. Clinton said: “These nearly 3.5 million Americans are in danger of being shut out of our democratic process. I think that is wrong, and frankly un-American.”

Funny how she didn’t think this way months ago when she signed on to the plan that would punish states for moving their primaries up – a plan that specifically stated that their delegates would not be seated if they did so. Huh – well I guess when you think you’ve got the nomination all wrapped up and have nothing to fear from a black man who has wondered off the Democrat Party plantation you can agree to those kinds of plans.

But when there is no way you can win the nomination based on pledged delegates, it is amazing how quickly you change your tune. Right Senatorette Clinton? I’ll tell you this, you have a lot of nerve calling Obama “un-American” (even though he is) considering you haven’t done much to preserve and protect the very founding documents and principles of America yourself.

Let’s be honest. You’re BOTH un-American.

Again, I’ll say if Hillary Clinton can’t be trusted to uphold the rules of her party, how can she be trusted to uphold the rules of our nation?
