Sounds Like They Need A Government Program

If someone dies from something, anything at all, you can bet there is some nebby do-gooder who will propose that government should “do something” to stop it from happening again. Apparently they need some sort of government program in Russia to deal with killer icicles because they are killing their citizens:

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Six people have been killed in three days by icicles falling from buildings in a central Russian region, ITAR-TASS news agency reported Tuesday.Plummeting chunks of ice is an annual hazard for pedestrians in Russia during the spring when the sun finally melts thick layers of ice and snow which build up on roofs over months of freezing temperatures and darkness.

What do you mean? No, I’m not being silly! I’m being serious. Liberals believe that they can simply put words on paper and it will make something true.  So the answer is clear. Russia needs to protect its citizens by outlawing icicles.

Then the whole problem will be over and done with. Just ask Hillary, Barack or Mr. Gore how to do this if you don’t know how.  I’m sure they will be full of advice and ideas.
