Senate Continues To Shred Constitution

Want to know why Congress thinks they can pass “Universal Health Care”? All you have to do is look at how they have been violating the Constitution for years and spending money above and beyond what is allowed in Article I on health care. And as long as they keep getting away with stuff like this, why shouldn’t they think they can do even grander socialist schemes?
WASHINGTON — In the first major overhaul of the Indian Health Service in more than a decade, Congress moved Tuesday toward bolstering health-care screening, illness prevention and mental health benefits for Native Americans. The Senate-approved legislation would infuse $35 billion over 10 years into the Indian Health Service to improve tribal health care for 1.8 million American Indians and Alaska Natives on reservations. The lawmakers voted 83-10 in favor of the legislation.
But then again, not too many people seem to care about the Constitution these days. I am still, after years of asking, waiting for someone to show me the authority for such spending in the Constitution. And I mean the actual Constitution and not the revised and expanded Constitution where we “read between the lines” to find things that aren’t there.
