RSSPromises, Promises … Broken As Always

Now that the 2008 elections are coming up on us fast, will voters hold liberal Democrats accountable for their bluster and false promises made in their pursuit of votes and power? On April 19, 2006, Nancy Pelosi said, “Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices”.
Well, we’re still waiting! Will all those ignorant Americans that actually believed that the Democrats were going to lower oil and gas prices fess up and reverse their votes now that the Democrat’s promises have been shown to be nothing but hot air?
For all their talk of a “plan” oil prices continue to soar and the cost of a gallon of gasoline remain high. All the while these same liberals are hamstrung by their special interest allies and continue to make it difficult for oil companies to drill for oil, increase supply and by simple economic decrease prices.
Instead they are more interested in protecting the polar bears and kowtowing to radical environmentalists while feeding tax dollars into alternative fuels not wanted or demanded by the public otherwise.
Of course you can’t count on liberals to change their ways and kick the Dems out. No, they’ll have their excuses ready and find some boogeyman like the Republicans or blame it on the belief that they simply haven’t spent enough of your tax dollars yet.
