OPRAH’S NEW AGE IS OLD HAT

Oprah glows. She says, “I believe everything has a purpose.”

Oh, really. Then when Muslims behead infidels there is a glowing purpose?

One could go on and on regarding the evil in the world. Evil has no good purpose as glowing Oprah would have us believe. She really holds to the philosophy that in every mortal’s life there is a divine purpose at work.

What Oprah will not admit to is the Devil.

Scripture states that there is the Prince of the Power of the Air. That is reference to the Devil. There is also the King of Kings who one day will rule upon His turf—the planet.

But in the meantime, the Prince takes the most mortals who are on the broad road leading to destruction, per Jesus.

So what makes Oprah’s New Age preaching void?

It is her refusal to admit the biblical truth that there are two forces at work in this world. There is God. There is the Devil.

Oprah’s New Age is getting plenty of hype on her websites. She glows in her publications. It’s the shine that never goes out. One can count on it with Oprah. Therefore, she has amassed this marvelous following of empty heads.

That is, by the way, why Oprah can endorse Barack Obama. The two are clones of one another. Oprah equals shine with no substance. Obama equals shine with no substance.

Now I am not discounting Oprah’s humanitarian venues. She surely has done much to help humans in lots of debilitating circumstances. She has a giving heart. She has a loving spirit. There can be no doubt.

But what I am referring to is her vacuumed New Age put-on. She’s taken God and made Him god. She’s taken Scripture and rewritten it. But of course that’s nothing new. Liberal theologians have been doing that for decades. Skeptics never quit doing it.

What is dangerous is that so many follow Oprah’s New Age output. That is so until it cracks wide open in an individual’s life. When the crack open occurs, that person is left totally depressed and without sound philosophical moorings.

The sound philosophy takes into account both God and the Devil. Then one can take the unfortunate situation to the God of the Bible, having faith that Christ as Savior can make good out of bad.

Without that, one is left with Oprah’s empty head.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal, you probably are not. Keep this in mind as trolling is prohibited and will result in your comments not being approved and comments informing us how much we are a bunch of idiots because you say we are or espousing hate towards the truth are often moved directly to the official “I Hate You/You’re An Idiot” thread. Save us all the time and post there directly if you have a comment that would meet those criteria. Commenters reserve the right to mock claims about how liberal ideas, such as higher taxes, actually work and how conservative and right wingers, are NAZIs, racists, sexists, etc. and will do so with great regularity.
