MUSLIM OBAMA MORE THAN CASUAL MUSLIM CHILD

Tine Hahiyary was a principal of Besuki Primary school when Barack Obama was in classes there.

She recalled Obama as “quite religious and actively took part in mengaji classes.”

Those classes were not superficial Islam. They meant business for Allah and the Koran, though Obama as an adult has tried to profile his childhood schooling superficial Muslim training.

The term “mengaji” means “to study.”

In Indonesian and Malaysian cultures it means to study the Koran so as to recite it in the Arabic language rather than the native language. Mengaji relates to the legalistic societies in Muslim Southeast Asia. These are the ardent disciples given to Islam with the entire being.

When Obama’s parents enrolled him in these classes, they were not just on a whim putting their son into low-level education. They were putting him into mean-business Muslim education.

Obama attended mengaji courses. This is well known in Indonesia. That is why many there are puzzled as to why now he wants to distance himself from his strict, legalistic Islamic education as a youngster. They know differently.

Many Muslims outside America wonder when Obama is going to come out of the closet, declaring himself a disciple of Allah since his upbringing was in that fashion.

Those aware of Obama’s endorsement of and encouragement to Islam and Muslim global organizations can readily understand his political opportunism at work during the present presidential campaign. It will be when he is seated in the White House that he will reveal his real allegiance—to Allah and the Muslim Islam World Rule agenda.
