Liberals To Regulate Amounts of Toilet Paper

Florida State Senator Victor Crist is apparently very liberal for a Republican. So liberal in fact that he is sticking his nose into how private businesses run their establishment by proposing a law about how much toilet paper they must provide:

TALLAHASSEE (AP) ― A proposed law currently making its way through the Florida legislature might help you with what can be an embarrassing problem. Here’s the bottom line, the bill would be a mandate that all eating establishment must have enough toilet paper when you go into the restroom. The only problem is the bill doesn’t dictate how much toilet paper is “enough.”

State Senator Victor Crist, a Republican from Tampa, felt the problem was so important, a law must be passed to protect the backsides of anyone in Florida. The measure will also try to regulate the cleanliness of restrooms in eating establishments.

Are you telling me that there are not more pressing problems than this in Florida? And isn’t it just like a nebby liberal do-gooder to propose a bill requiring something without telling anyone what the requirement actually is?

Mr. Crist, do us all a favor and change to the Democratic Party. You belong there.
