I just don’t get it???

I consider myself an intelligent person, I follow the news and know what is going on in the world but I just don’t get it. We have people all over the country throwing a fit because they think that the oil companies are using dirty tricks to raise their gas prices and yet no one seems to care that there are a lot and I do mean a lot of businesses who are using what amounts to slave labor to keep their prices lower than others and run them out of business. I have heard from some people who openly admit to working with if not hiring them and these people have no shame about it, as a matter of fact one said he prefers them to the American chimps on welfare, it does not get much plainer than that.
Yet here we have people who are disobeying our laws, some blatantly others under the guise of compassion and I have yet to hear the democrats the nations watchdogs declare a moratorium against using illegal workers to gain income or to cause harm to other businesses, I have yet to hear of them calling for an investigation into these people who have the best of both worlds. These people are allowed to hire someone who should not be in our country, they are allowed to pay them way below the minimum wage the democrats demanded everyone have, they are allowed to work them without insurance, which is something they harass Wal-Mart about regularly, they are allowed to work them without workers compensation, some without to use of bathrooms, breaks or even food. Some are threatened daily, some have had dogs used to make them work faster, some have been threatened with deportation if they stood up to stretch, which by the democrats definition is nothing short of torture and is against the Geneva convention, and yet the democrats say nothing except that they will stop the building of the fence, they will stop the raids and they will in fact aid these companies in their illegal activities.
They have not even attempted to try and tax the money made illegally, the party of the worker would seem to be the party of the employer now, they do not care if you lose your job, there will always be plenty of people coming across the border to replace you. I just don’t get it, maybe they do not want to go after those who are actually illegally making gains and only want to go after those they are not getting money from. Perhaps it is too big for them to handle, maybe they can only go after one or two companies at a time, and maybe they can only go after companies who are not employing people who are in this country illegally. It has to be something because for as long as I can remember if you were making money legally or illegally they were dead set on investigating your company, they have been known as the workers party forever, they were the good guys standing up for the American worker, standing against big business and wasn’t it the conservatives who were always for the business and the big money? That is how it has been billed as long as I can remember, then perhaps some one can tell me why it is that the conservatives are the only ones fighting the companies who are reaping illegally gained profits and the democrats are defending them, I just don’t get it.
