EDEN’S SNAKE = REPUBLICANS FOR CHOICE BAIT MCCAIN

Every garden has its snake. McCain is now teased by Republicans for Choice who inform media that McCain is sweet to compromise.

After all, McCain’s been known to compromise over and over again, so much so that conservative Republicans state emphatically that they don’t trust him. Super Tuesday does not convince many of the skeptics.

It’s as if McCain Unitarian would have to convert to being a Praise-the-Lord Pentecostal for countless conservatives to trust McCain’s political conversion from outright liberal to genuine conservative.

He’s spent so much energy compromising the Republican principles while wearing the Republican garb that it’s difficult for those in-the-know to believe he can truthfully change.

Therefore, Republicans for Choice, knowing McCain’s weakness—that is, up to whittling away at convictions—they slither up to his soul on the day immediately following Super Tuesday. They tell McCain that they believe that RFC can work cooperatively with the likes of a compromising McCain.

This will be one of countless times that the snake will try to keep McCain liberal bent. Those who have worked alongside him daily in Congress know that McCain has been the political hypocrite. He’s brought shame to the Party. He’s riled up the steadfast political disciples.

Why then over time should not pro-lifers discover to their dismay that McCain has yielded to the womb baby killers? Anything can happen in this world. The skeptics are more aware of this than those who are not privy to the real-life McCain’s temper, gross language and compromising ethics for self-advantage.

“Republicans for Choice (RFC), a group of pro-abortion Republicans, has endorsed its second choice for president, Sen. John McCain, after former Mayor Rudy Giuliani bowed out.

“’He has time and again reached out and worked with people across the spectrum,’ RFC said on its Web site. ‘We know we can work with him to create common ground that will allow moderates and conservatives to come together to rebuild the GOP.’”

There is no “common ground” when it comes to pro-lifers versus pro-baby killers. Either one murders the unborn or one does not murder the unborn. There is no middle ground—so-called “common ground that will allow moderates and conservatives to come together to rebuild the GOP.”

The snake lies again. Will the snake win? Only time will tell—on this issue and numberless others.
