The 3-week course is labeled as “A Simulation of Islamic History and Culture: 610-1100.” It’s for public schools throughout the nation.
Its curriculum web site informs: “This simulation allows students to learn about the history and culture of Islam and the Islamic world by ‘becoming’ Muslims. There are five phases of the unit.
“Students are assigned to a city, choose an Arabic name, and become familiar with their group and responsibilities outlined in the Student Guide. In the introduction section, students take a pretest, read a short history of Islam, and learn about Muslim dress and customs.
“In the Caravan Days section, cities compete to answer quiz cards and collect Arabic money. Oasis Days gives time for students to complete several tasks required of every group in the simulation. In Festival Days each group presents its own festival project. The Islamic Bowl culminates the unit with each city providing contestants for a “college-bowl” type of activity.”
That all sounds level. But it’s not. The course actually teaches hate, how to attack Christians in particular and a design for overthrowing our democracy. Yet this course is permitted by courts in the US.
What happened to the liberals’ mantra of “separation of church and state”? This is bringing the Muslim cult into public schools. This cleaning up Islam’s killing cult as a legitimate world religion. This is undermining America’s Judeo-Christian heritage.
The course is produced by Interaction Publishers, Inc.
Throughout America, classrooms will teach mock battles of jihad against “Christian crusaders and other infidels.” When students playing the parts of Muslim attackers win the battle, they are taught to shout “Praise Allah.”
The Thomas More Law Center, a public-interest law firm in Michigan, exposes the course and so filed lawsuit proceedings against the Byron, CA school district.
The course brazenly flies in the face of the Supreme Court ruling that public schools may teach religion on “condition that they do not promote it.”
Warring Muslim “Islam World Rule” is the bottom line to this course in the US. Student participation teaches them how to dress as a Muslim, how to cry out Islamic expressions, studying the Koran, repeating Islamic prayers, and so forth.
Biblical Christianity would never be allowed in US schools with such a curriculum base. Pupils would never be permitted to offer prayers to the Christian God as course content, read the Bible as divine writ as course content, and outright opposing other world religions.
