TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Two suspected human smugglers bailed out of a moving dump truck Tuesday in Douglas, leaving 23 illegal immigrants inside. Border Patrol Agent Mike Scioli says that the truck continued to roll for about 75 yards before an agent jumped in and hit the brakes. The Tucson Citizen reports that the 23 immigrants were uninjured and voluntarily returned to Mexico. Scioli says the two suspected smugglers, including the driver of the truck, were taken into custody.
