Sure, Announce It To The World Why Don’t Ya!

Every wacko with a hatred of people with dark skin is probably salivating at this news. Apparently security for a Presidential candidate isn’t a very big deal:

DALLAS — Security details at Barack Obama’s rally Wednesday stopped screening people for weapons at the front gates more than an hour before the Democratic presidential candidate took the stage at Reunion Arena.

The order to put down the metal detectors and stop checking purses and laptop bags came as a surprise to several Dallas police officers who said they believed it was a lapse in security.

Dallas Deputy Police Chief T.W. Lawrence, head of the Police Department’s homeland security and special operations divisions, said the order — apparently made by the U.S. Secret Service — was meant to speed up the long lines outside and fill the arena’s vacant seats before Obama came on.

Whether the order from the Secret Service originated from the campaign or not is unclear from this story.

I dislike Obama, find his collectivist politics reprehensible and am disgusted by his lack of faith in people and their liberty but that doesn’t mean I want him dead. Unfortunately with news like this someone might get an idea.

If you think he is seen as a Christ figure now, wait until someone bumps him off.

    When I read this I was shocked to hear this but apparently the security plan was approved by Obama’s people and didn’t include having everyone patted down. Rumor is that Obama just wants the seats filled and with high security that wont happen.
