Timid United States is at it again.
Where is the Great Strength of the mightiest nation on the globe? Obviously the Great Strength has come upon some anemic strain.
If the US was real about this lawbreaking, it would shut down employers who knowingly employ lawbreakers such as illegal aliens.
That would teach the employers that America is strong, that it means business with the accent on ethics-in-business, patriotism-in-business.
Now there is just a fine. Just a fine, mind you. Just a fine.
But more: For the first time in ten years, the US has upped the fine. Do I hear any applause for this grand move on the part of the mightiest nation on the globe? Is there an audience ripping so rafters shake on this latest turn?
Somehow my ears don’t pick up the raucous applause. Perhaps it is over there at the immigration-friendly Barack Obama campaign tent. No doubt.
Per AP, the US has raised by 25 percent the fines brought to bear on the backs of employers “who knowingly hire illegal immigrants.”
Twenty-five percent. Let’s figure how many unpatriotic, law-breaking enablers fork out the percentage just to keep those aliens right there at the work site.
Note the gracious gesture to law-abiding citizens who watch with whispered breath for the America-that-once-was to exert its might: “Attorney General Michael Mukasey and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff announced the increase, which is the first boost in fines in nearly a decade.”
Applause, anyone?
Headlines, media?
So where is the ground swell of appreciation from law-abiding personages from sea to shining sea? After all, we do cross our hearts when hearing the national anthem. We do wear the America flag pin on our lapels. And we do sing sincerely, “God Bless America.”

Does anyone get the gist that there is a delay factor at work in the Attorney General and Homeland Security Secretary’s conclave? Where are the efficiency experts at work places when we need them?
Well, we say, it’s just government. And who can trust government to be all that on time? But we are the mightiest nation on the globe. Recall?
“Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the federal agency responsible for investigating illegal hirings, has stepped up its enforcement of the employer sanctions law in the past year, leading to a dozen major busts.
“Currently, fines range from $2,000 to $10,000 depending on the offense. The agency says some penalties could include at least six months in jail.”
Jail?
Let’s just close down those places of employment where lawbreakers are enabled by lawbreaking employers who don’t care a twit except for their cash flow.
Now back to Barack Obama, The Boy wanting to “change” and “unite.” What kind of record does the charmer have when it comes to real-life real-time illegals in the country he wants to rule?

Barack Obama fails those who are in the business of reporting immigration stance.
In other words, Obama aids illegals. He consistently works hard for those who break the law.
Example: Obama has voted for amnesty for aliens.
He voted “in favor of giving illegal aliens further rewards and other incentives to come such as in-state tuition, educational benefits, welfare, and health care services” per Immigration Stance.
In addition, Obama has worked to increase illegals’ statistics by having their relatives come to America where the latter learn with more precision how to break America’s law.
This is The Boy who promises the New Heaven and New Earth to America.
This is the “inspirational” speaker who hypnotizes his audiences.
This is the magnet who draws to his heart weeping women enthralled by his smooth tongue.
Yet we are to expect The Boy to bring justice to the nation while aggressively working for lawbreakers?
Immigration Stance reports: “Once an immigrant is legally here they can send home to bring in more adults from their family such as parents, siblings and adult children.
“That legal immigrant can then bring in more family members directly related to them. This is called chain migration and Senator Barack Obama wants it to continue.
“Chain migration has exponential growth and is the primary cause of the 4-fold increase in immigration to this country since 1960.
In addition, “Senator Barack Obama has voted for increases in permanent and temporary foreign work visas such as the H1-B. All too often these work visa programs are abused by employers and used to get lower cost workers into this country rather than hiring American workers.
“For the foreign worker it is common to see them not return to their home country and remain here on an expired visa.
“Overall, Senator Barack Obama has a poor record when it comes to immigration reform.
“Senator Barack Obama actively encourages more illegal immigration to our country and is in our opinion a threat to this nation. We cannot give Barack Obama our seal of approval” informs the Immigration Stance web site.
