Republican voters note!

Carolyn Hileman - The Voice* | February 25, 2008

this is valuable information for those who are voting republican.

1. The Republican Presidential candidate is NOT a “done deal” regardless of what the media continues to hammer at you daily. There is still a chance that McCain might not get all the delegates he needs to become the party’s candidate, if Huckabee takes another state like Texas which is much more conservative than most of the primaries thus far. If neither has the 1191 delegates needed for the nomination, we will have a “brokered convention” meaning the nomination is wide open to anyone again.

This is how the “unelectable” Reagan got the nomination in 1980.

There is strong evidence that Gingrich, Thompson, Duncan Hunter, and perhaps Romney are waiting in the wings if this happens.

We might add that you can vote “uncommitted.” I think a “brokered convention” would be a good thing.
