Poll: Most Iowans say state deals better with immigration

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A majority of Iowans think the state could do a better job dealing with illegal immigration than the federal government. That’s according to a poll in a copyright story in The Des Moines Register. The poll found 55% of Iowans say state officials could more effectively deal with the issue than the federal government.
