RSSMore Liberals Turn To Cannibalizing Themselves

The political season is always fun because you get to see which liberal groups will turn on which other liberal group because said liberal group won’t endorse their liberal candidate of choice based on some arbitrary and capricious standard. In this case, the National Organization for Women are pissed at Teddy “Where’s Mary Jo?” Kennedy because he dared endorse a black man rather than a white woman.
NEW YORK (AP) – The New York chapterof The National Organization for Women accused Sen. Edward M. Kennedy of betraying women with his endorsement of Barack Obama, prompting the organization’s national office to come to the Massachusetts senator’s defense.
“Women have just experienced the ultimate betrayal,” NOW’s New York State chapter said in a scorching rebuke. “Senator Kennedy’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s opponent in the Democratic presidential primary campaign has really hit women hard.”
On Monday, Kennedy, D-Mass., his son Patrick and his niece Caroline Kennedy announced their support for Obama. Edward Kennedy said the country needs a leader who can bring people together and create change.
But the move angered the state chapter of NOW, which called Kennedy’s decision the “greatest betrayal.”
Just remember, you heard it straight from the mouth of liberals. Supporting a black man is a betrayal of women. Talk about racism and sexism all rolled into one. And wait a minute. I thought these radical feminists didn’t need men anyway? So what is the big deal about his endorsement? Are you now saying you need men and their approval? Many of your members will no doubt be confused. That is, if they can muster up the candlepower to notice the hypocrisy.
But then again this is the party of slavery, the KKK, and that fought tooth and nail against the civil rights act. So is it any wonder they are upset that a black man got an endorsement from a prominent member of the party they support?
