Mexican gov’t launches American PR campaign

A pro-family activist says the Mexican government is engaging in a multi-million-dollar public relations campaign designed to tug on Americans’ heartstrings and change their minds about illegal immigration.
William Greene, publisher of the website RightMarch.com, says Mexican President Felipe Calderon believes the nationwide PR campaign will “help the U.S. public recognize ‘the irreplaceable contribution of Mexicans to the United States, to its economy and its society.’”
“They’re going to highlight inspirational success stories of Mexican immigrants who prospered in American society … [the objective being] to convince the American people that illegal immigration is okay and we just need to stop discriminating against illegals,” describes Greene. “[They want to convince us to] just give them amnesty and move on.”
