Man accused of molesting girl, 5, found in Mexico

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police have located a man they believe molested a 5-year-old Indianapolis girl but it could be many months before Jose Oviedo stands before a judge. Police believe the unimaginable happened to a little girl at her eastside home. According to the probable cause affidavit, on January 26th a 5-year-old arrived at St. Francis with obvious signs of having contracted a sexually transmitted disease. She told police her mother’s boyfriend molested her. Police then issued a warrant for 30-year-old Jose Oviedo, a man authorities believe is an illegal immigrant.
