ELECTIONS: A JOKE, IF NOT SO SERIOUS

This year’s elections are a laugh if they were not so downright strategic.
The Boy vs. Old Man. Now what kind of an election is that?
The Dems have a left of left evil doer who supports partial-birth abortion!
The Reps have someone who was most difficult to come upon.
Neither party has a worthy leader who can walk into the White House with any wisdom to manage an unbelievable world, let alone a country.
TV commentator Glenn Beck scolded the Republicans by stating they’d better come up with a true leader. Good luck, Glenn.
But there’s no use clawing at Barack Obama and John McCain if we don’t also admit that the executive and legislative branches of government have left us hanging from a rope.
Thanks GWB. Thanks Nancy Pelosi.
So talk about lack of leadership!
There’s Iran. There’s Iraq. There’s the dollar loss. There’s Wall Street roller coaster. There’s Dem’s secularization of America. There’s the Republican constituency lethargy. Not to mention Sudan, Darfur, and North Korea. There’s nuclear proliferation up the ying-yang.
There’s social security angst for the young who will have none. There’s health care nix for America’s unnumbered.
And then there’s Obama’s empty promises that scope out a New Heaven and New Earth, all the while he having not a clue as to how to birth it.
Obamamania will walk The Boy into the Pennsylvania Avenue confines.
Inauguration Day will be one frightening date always remembered as America’s finis?
