Don’t Like High Oil Prices? Just Remember Why They Are High!

It’s not Bush or the evil conservatives or even Big Oil or plain old Big Business. It’s the environmental wackos who keep suing to stop us from drilling for our own oil and increasing supplies:

The following is a statement by Betsy Loyless, Senior Vice President, National Audubon Society:”It’s regrettable that we now must turn to the courts to protect the polar bear from our own Interior Department. Opening up Alaska’s Chukchi Sea, also known as the Polar Bear Sea, to oil and gas leases is about as shameless as this administration has been on the environment.

“In a lopsided and telling series of decisions, this administration brazenly skipped a legal deadline to protect the bear, swore before Congress the drilling would do no harm even as their scientists warned them otherwise, and have done nothing but impede solutions to global warming.

“By the government’s own admission, an oil spill in the Chukchi is probable and would likely hurt polar bears. Spills in those icy rough waters are nearly impossible to clean up before doing damage to wildlife.”

Can’t afford your heating bill? Gas prices putting a dent in your pocket book? Blame Ms. Loyless and her fetish for putting Polar Bears ahead of you.

Auto accidents are “probable” too but it doesn’t stop us from driving does it?

And in case you haven’t figured it out yet – she’s a barking liberal moonbat! Vote for her fellow travelers at your own peril!
