COME ON NOW: MUSLIM HELP MUSLIM: EGYPT OPEN TO GAZA

Let Muslims open their borders to Muslims so that Muslims can take over.

Muslims are pushing non-Muslim environs to take over. Islam World Rule, recall?

Then why should not fellow Muslims help all Muslims seeking a better life? Open the Muslim borders to fellow Muslims. Give them a chance.

And what better place to start than Egypt opening up its border to Gaza Muslims. It’s the Allah-way, isn’t it? Compassion? Empathy? Selflessness? Liberty-for-all? Another chance at a better life here on Allah’s turf?

Come on, Muslim Egyptian leaders. Let’s get with the Allah compassion program. Somewhere in the Koran there has to be a parable of the Good Samaritan. No, you say? My, oh, my, must have misjudged the Koran on that one. How silly of me.

Anyhow, the UPI reports that Egypt resists opening up its border to fellow Islamics. So Islamic Gaza leaders are now dialoguing with Egypt to rethink the humanitarian dimension that would put a happy face on the Muslim persona.

Humanitarian dimension, you ask? Again, how silly of me. I must have been thinking of the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence and, oh, yes, the Bible.

“Hamas leaders crossed into Egypt Saturday to discuss re-opening the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza.

“The Hamas delegation, headed by Mahmoud al-Zahhar, was to meet with Egyptian security officials at El-Arish in Sinai, KUNA, the Kuwait News Agency, reported.

“The delegation, accompanied by members of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also was to discuss unrest with Israel and Israel’s blockade against Gaza. The delegation used the Rafah crossing to enter Egypt Saturday, KUNA said.

“Egyptian officials said they planned to release some of the Palestinians arrested last month when portions of the Rafah border barrier were destroyed by explosives and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians crossed into Egypt to buy food, fuel and other provisions.

“The border has been re-closed except for sanctioned crossings.”

Now how unfeeling those Egyptian leaders are. They jailed their own fellows from Gaza. They, Muslims sealed up the border again so that fellow Muslims from Gaza could not get through to the Egyptian better way of life.

Well, that’s Islam for you.
